The brief for this project was human variation and my team designed an app with a focus on gallbladder and cystic duct variation.

 

A surgery for gallbladder removal is not a complex one, however less common cystic duct variant can increase the risks. For this reason the app aimed to raise awareness of lesser known variants.

 

I have contributed the illustrations for an educational part of the app, where users learn about the procedure and different variants. Afterwards they can test their knowledge on an interactive model.

This project enabled me to work with students across many different fields and taking part was very rewarding.
